About Tubidy: Service and Editorial Process

Tubidy has been online since 2009 and is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is an online music search and download service for listeners in South Africa and beyond.

Tubidy is a free music website for finding songs and music videos and saving them as MP3 audio, MP4 audio or MP4 video.

It runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, so there is nothing to install. Searching and choosing a format do not need an account. The site is supported by advertising.

• You search for a song, an artist or a few keywords.
• You open the result you want and tap Download.
• Tubidy prepares the available formats for that result.
• You choose a format and your browser saves the file, usually in its Downloads folder.

The site also shows lists such as Top Videos and Top Searches, and genre and mood playlists for browsing. The download guide shows every step with screenshots.

Guides on this site describe what the live site actually does. Steps and screenshots are checked on the site before a guide is published or updated, and each guide shows when it was first published and last updated. Features we could not check are left out rather than guessed.

• How Our Music Lists WorkWhere the music lists on this site come from.

If a guide contains an error or a song page shows the wrong details, let us know through the Contact page. Rights holders can use the copyright request page.
